About trakki: built by a former field sales rep

Where I come from
I started in field sales in 2017, as a medical device rep. Today I am a sales manager.
As a rep, I planned my week on Sunday evenings. Planning a week means working out who is due, when each customer is open and who is close enough for the same day. I never found a tool that would do that for me.
Why trakki exists
Company systems are built for the company. They collect reports and show figures for management. They do little for the person planning next week, and the customer list ends up on the provider's servers.
Navigation apps get you from A to B once you know the addresses. They do not know who is due, when the pharmacy closes for lunch or what happened on the last visit.
So I built trakki around three rules:
- The map shows who is due. You decide how often to visit each customer: every 60 days, say, or six times a year. On the map, overdue customers are red, those due soon yellow and those still fine green.
- trakki plans the week, not just the next drive. Tap “Plan week” and it fills your days by due date. It keeps detours short and leaves fixed appointments where they are. Visits are only planned when the customer is open, lunch closures included. The day view shows drive times, your break and when you will be home.
- Your customer list stays with you. It is stored on your device. There is no trakki account and no trakki server, so I cannot see your list. trakki does not track what you do in the app either.
Whether you may put company customer data into an app of your own is your employer's decision. If in doubt, ask first.
Built by one person
trakki is built by one person: me. That has consequences, so here they are.
There is no hotline. Your email to support@trakki.at is read by the person who built the app, and I answer it myself. There is no product team either. trakki gets better through what you tell me: if something is missing or gets in your way, write to me and it goes on my list. And there are no investors and no ads.
Where trakki stands
trakki launches in Austria: iPhone and iPad on the App Store, Android on Google Play and Windows in the Microsoft Store, plus apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS watches. I will give the date for each version once it is set.
To hear when it launches, sign up on the home page. You get the launch message and occasional news about trakki, never ads from anyone else. You can unsubscribe at any time. Until then, the home page lets you try the real app in your browser, with sample customers.
The Field sales app page lists what trakki can do. The guides show how I plan weeks and divide up territories.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my data if you stop working on trakki?
It stays with you, on your device. You can save a backup file at any time and export your visits to Excel. If trakki ever stops, none of your data is stuck on a server of mine, because there isn't one.
Is trakki a tool for my team?
No, and that is deliberate. trakki is for one person planning their own week. It does not replace a team CRM. If your company uses one, you pass your visits on to it as an Excel file.
Can I have a say in what comes next?
Yes. Write and tell me what you are missing. I collect every request, and what several people ask for comes first.
